Judith A. “Judy” Vance, 80, of Logansport passed away at 1:53 p.m., Friday, May 24, 2019 at Aperion Care in Peru. Born on August 4, 1938 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Flora “Jennette” (Ulrich) Vance. She was a 1952 graduate of St. Joseph Catholic School and a 1956 Logansport High School graduate.

Judy also attended Indiana University. Judy was a teacher at St. Joseph Catholic School for several years before she began her long career as a reservationist for American Airlines where she was employed for over 30 years. She was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Bedford, Texas and was an active member and past president of Sigma Phi Gamma.

Survivors include her brother, Chester “Jim” Vance of Logansport, niece, Jamie Vance of Dallas, Texas and nephew, Greg Vance and wife Amy of Austin, Texas. A private family service and burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery at a later date.
