Judith Ann (Carlisle) Koressel, 79, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019 surrounded by her family. Judy, along with her husband Ralph, founded, owned, and operated Premier Electric for many years before their retirement. She and Ralph were business, travel and golf partners for 59 years of marriage.

She started playing golf later in life, but was involved in an 18-hole league at the Evansville Country Club, where she and Ralph were members. Judy was a talented, creative, and self-taught artist, who enjoyed painting, sewing, quilting and ceramics. Judy was an active member of Resurrection parish and school; serving as a substitute teacher, coach and Girl Scout leader.

She was also very spiritual and active in her faith, serving as a prayer warrior for others. Everything Judy did, she did 100%. She was a role model for many.

Surviving Judy are her husband, Ralph Koressel; daughters, Lori (Doug) Hudson and Kathy Koressel; one sister, Barbara McCormick; brother, Lee (Kathey) Carlisle and grandchildren, Sarah (Chad) Davis, Victor Koressel, Elliott Hudson and Aubrey Hudson. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Catherine (Martin) Carlisle; by two sisters, Virginia Vitzdamm and Sharon Bowman and by a brother, Michael Carlisle. Funeral services for Judy will be held at 5:00 PM on Friday, March 8, 2019 at Pierre Funeral Home, Rev.

Tyler Tenbarge officiating. Private entombment will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 until 5:00 PM on Friday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
