Obituary for JUDITH M. DOBI (Hill) Judith Mae (Annelin) Dobi, 80, of Prince St., Negaunee, passed away peacefully Monday, November 12, 2018 at the Eastwood Nursing Center with her loving family by her side and under the care of Lake Superior Hospice. Judy was born August 19, 1938 in Ishpeming to Waino S. and Aune M. (Luokkala) Hill, graduated from Negaunee High School, Class of 1956 and was a lifelong area resident. Mrs. Dobi was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Negaunee.

Surviving are her three daughters: Connie (Steve) Kemper of Negaunee, Bonnie (Brendan) McCarthy of San Diego, and Jill (Doug) Sladek of Negaunee; six grandchildren: Stacy (Jeff) Bouman, Adam (Camille Sliger) Kemper, Nicholas McCarthy, Samantha (Eric) Toth, Nicole (Josh) Chapman and Elizabeth (Tim) King; 7 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Richard Annelin; second husband, Karoly Dobi; and a brother, Melvin ‘MJ’ Hill. A Celebration of Life and luncheon will be held from 4:30 pm until 6:30 pm on Tuesday, November 20th in the Immanuel Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall.

Interment will be in the Negaunee Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Judy’s memory to Eastwood Nursing Center, Immanuel Lutheran Church or Lake Superior Hospice. To send flowers to the family of JUDITH M. DOBI (Hill), please visit our Heartfelt Sympathies Store.
