Obituary for Judith E. Counterman (Ahner) Print Judith E. Counterman, 57, of Lansford, passed away on Friday, February 22 in her home. She was the wife of the late Walter Counterman. Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late John Ahner Sr. and the late Ellen (Walck) Ahner.

She is survived by a son, Shannon Reeser of Lehighton; a brother, James Ahner of Lansford; a sister, Karen Oswald of Lansford; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 27 from 10:00 to 11:00 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville followed by funeral services at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Sky-View Memorial Park in Tamaqua.
