Judith Marlene Samm passed on February 10, 2019. She was born to Chester and Netta Edmonson on August 10, 1943 and grew up in Jasonville, Indiana. She enjoyed creating art in her crafts, collecting teapots and traveling the world.

She attended the Cornerstone Connection Church. She was passionate about being a cub scout leader. Judith is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; Donnie and Darrell Edmonson and daughter-in-law, Tonya Samm.

She is survived by her husband Larry of 57 ½ years whom she married on May15, 1961, her sons, Dwain Samm, Brian (Karen) Samm, Terry (Wanita) Samm, a daughter, Melinda (John) Tatman, eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren and surviving brothers, John (Rose-Ella) Edmonson, Chester (Vickie) Edmonson and Jim (Judy) Edmonson, a sister in-law Carla Edmonson. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with Pastor Laura Wells officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Brust Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org.
