Judith “Judi” M. Sova, 73, of McHenry, Illinois, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home, on Saturday, November 17, 2018. Judi was born on January 16, l 945 to John Wood Sr. and Mildred Wood (nee Allen), She spent her early life in Mexico, New York. She married Bruce Sova, and they moved to Illinois.

Judi was employed at Precision Twist/Sandvik until her retirement. Her pleasure in life was spending time with her family and friends, her cats, watching Westerns and everything Elvis. She enjoyed visiting her family in New York as often as possible.

Judi is survived by her sister, Nancy Murphy, sister and brother in laws, Susan Wood, David Darrow, Josephine (Dick) Rauch, Daniel (Theresa) Sova, David (Carole) Sova, Wayne (Doreen) Sova, Karen Sova, Sheila (George) Todd; and many nieces, nephews, and friends, including her very close friend of 32 years, Mardell Cook She was proceeded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Carol and Sharon; and two brothers, John Wood Jr., and Michael Wood. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the Mausoleum Chapel in the McHenry County Memorial Park Cemetery in Woodstock. The family would like to thank Dr. Zahir, JoumeyCare and friends, for taking such great care of Judi.
