Obituary for Judy Elaine Pillans Hagler Judy Elaine Pillans Hagler, 68 of Winkler passed away June 29, 2018 in Florida. She was born May 18, 1950 in Corsicana, Texas to Wayne Allen Pillans and Joyce Johnson Pillans. She was a lifelong member of New Hope Baptist Church where she loved to sing.
Judy was in Education 29 1/2 years and also Real Estate and Broker for many years. She was an “experienced” United State traveler, she loved to go and always had her next trip planned before she left for a trip. She was a lifelong 4H/FFA show mom and grandmother.
She enjoyed going to stock shows when are children were young and continued going with her grandchildren. Judy was very active with her grandchildren, if they had an activity of any kind she was always ready to go to watch and cheer them on. Christmas was her favorite holiday.
She always made stops at Christmas stores while they were traveling to purchase ornaments to hang on her tree. Above all else she dearly loved her family. She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Joyce Pillans and her brother Roger Pillans. She is survived by her husband, John Clayton “Corky” Hagler Jr. of St. Elmo; daughter, Lanna McCabe and husband Ryan of Ennis; son, Clay Hagler and wife Jennifer of St. Elmo; grandchildren, Kayla and Kirby McCabe, Andrew and Madison Hagler; aunt Barbara Loftis; uncle Johnny Mack Johnson; brothers in law, Tommy Hagler, Gene Hagler and families; sister in law, Diane Cotton and family and numerous cousins. Visitation will be Friday, July 6th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home, Corsicana.
Service will be 10:00 am Saturday, July 7th at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home Chapel, Corsicana. Burial will follow at St. Elmo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Gary Pillans, Gary Merle Pillans, Phil Pillans, Jerrod Pillans, Benny Pillans, Elbert Manor, Dale Hagler and Glen Clark.
