Obituary for Paula Hartley Paula Jean Hartley was born in Hubbard, Texas on February 20, 1948 to Tom and Bonnie Smith. She grew up in Hubbard 9 of nine siblings. She met her soul mate, James C. Hartley and they were married on December 11, 1964 in the United Methodist Church Hubbard.
