Julie was raised on the homestead that was settled by her great-great-great grandparents, Peter and Mary Marchino in the 1840s. Julie was a staunch supporter of and advocate for Vincennes Catholic Schools Rivet Athletics and Christian Education Foundation. She served in various roles with CEF including most recently President. She enjoyed those times with CEF and writing for and helping put together the Legacy magazine for CEF and the Catholic schools.

Always thinking of others before herself, she was caregiver and protector to many. Julie was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, Godmother, and friend who will be greatly missed by all. Julie is survived by her sister Marilyn (Tom) Westfall of Vincennes, a brother John C. (Lori) Marchino of Vincennes, nephews; John Lee (Shelby Jo) Marchino, Curt (Shelby) Marchino of Vincennes and Nathan Westfall of Michigan and one niece Margaret “Maggie” Westfall of Vincennes.
