Born Sunday, April 29, 1951 in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Modafferi and the late Helen Garofalo Modafferi. She was the former wife of Peter Pizzuti.

Julia, a Home Maker, loved to cook and was a food enthusiast. She enjoyed watching televsion, but relished spending time with her children and grandchildren, they were her life. Loving mother of Vincent Pizzuti, Anthony Pizzuti and Peter Pizzuti.

Dear sister of Danny Modafferi,Joann Pepe and Frances Sena; Cherished grandmother of 6 grand children, Anthony, Amanda, Isabella, Matthew, Giovanna, and Angelina. A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday at the John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc. located at 28 Eltingville Blvd Staten Island, New York 10312. Interment will follow in Ocean View Cemetery, Staten Island, NY.
