Obituary for Julia Moore Gove ROCKLAND – Julia F. Gove, 100, died peacefully, Monday, October 15, 2018 at Knox Center for Long Term Care. Born in Burlington August 30, 1918, she was the daughter of Norris and Elvie Stickney Moore. Educated locally, she was a graduate of Brewer High School.
She later graduated from the Castine Normal School earning a degree in Education. For many years Mrs. Gove taught first grade in both Maine and Connecticut. Predeceased by her husband Raymond Eugene Gove and a daughter Bonnie Marie Gove Ohlund; Mrs. Gove is survived by her daughter Judith Gove of Rockland; her grandchildren, Kyle Gove Ohlund and his wife Tonyalyn of Coventry, CT, Annathea Dostilio Smith and her husband Michael of Austin, TX; her great-grandchildren, Lucia Smith, Abrielle Smith, Makalei Rae Ohlund and Lilah Ohlund.
