Obituary for Julie “Christiansen” Lenzine Services for Julie Lenzine, 50, will be Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. Family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Julie was born July 2, 1968 to Roger and Dorothy (Anderson) Christiansen.

She attended school in Albert City and went to high school in Storm Lake Class of 1987. While working at the Hy-Vee Distribution Center in 2002, she met Kevin Lenzine; they were married on September 25, 2011. Truly the love of each other’s lives, they became inseparable.

Julie worked at the Chariton Nursing and Rehab Center for several years and in March of 2018 she began working at the new Chariton Warehouse Commissary. Of course Julie enjoyed shopping and shopping online, but she absolutely loved bargain shopping for name-brand purses. Her closet is full!

She also enjoyed working around the house, landscaping, out door lighting, and planting her favorite plants. Julie liked to have Kevin grill out while she spent time with family and friends. She loved being with her grandchildren and they will remember that she could cook anything on the “Pizzazz Pizza Oven” and that she loved to watch “Dr. Phil” or “Uncle Phil” as she called him.

Julie passed away suddenly July 24th 2018. She will be greatly missed by her father, Roger Christiansen; husband, Kevin Lenzine; children: Valerie Christiansen, Ernest Christiansen, Kimberly Chambers, Ashley (Shawn) Ruepke, Sky Lenzine, and Christian Lenzine; 4 grandchildren: Alviee, Sophiee, Fayelynn, and Sy. Also surviving are siblings: Tracy (Larry) Klataske, Barry Christiansen, and Curt (Heather) Christiansen; mother-in-law, Betty Lenzine; and many relatives and friends To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Julie “Christiansen” Lenzine please visit our Sympathy Store.
