Obituary for Julius Norman “Jake” Jacobson Julius “Jake” N Jacobson, 67, of Niagara, Wisconsin passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018 at his daughter’s home in Woodbine, Maryland. He was born August 21, 1951 in Marinette, Wisconsin to Hazel Jacobson. Julius graduated from Maine West High School in Des Plaines, Illinois, class of 69.

Julius joined the United States Army in 1977 where he served our nation for over 23 years, earning the Army Service Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal with Bronze service star, Over Seas Service Ribbon, Army Good Conduct Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, and Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon. Julius obtained the Rank of Chief Warrant Officer 2 prior to retiring in 1993. Survivors include brother David Jacobson of Holiday Hills, IL; sister Cynthia DiVerde of Bloomingdale, IL; and children: son Wayne and Jessica Jacobson of Burlington, NC; favorite son and child Brian and Donna Jacobson of Norway, MI, Nathan and daughter Kimberly Hostetter of Fort Belvoir, VA and Andrew and daughter Barbara Smith of Woodbine, MD and nine grandchildren, 4 girls and 5 boys.

He was preceded in death by his mother Hazel Jacobson.
