Obituary for June Faye Coffin June Faye Coffin, 94 of Independence, MO passed away Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Centerpoint Medical Center. The family will greet friends 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave. , Independence, MO 64052 followed by a graveside service at 2:30 p.m., Saturday at Woodlawn Cemetery.

She was born June 28, 1924 in LaCygne, KS to Ernest and Edna Kimzey. She was married on September 6, 1944 to Virgil Dean Coffin for 74 years and have lived in Independence, MO since 1947. An infant son, Virgil Leroy, her parents, and sister Georgianna Hunziker preceded her in death.

She is survived by: her husband, Dean of the home; a daughter, Linda Ludwig and her husband Dr. Mark Ludwig; a granddaughter Marilee Phillips and husband Jamie and their children, Emily, Hannah, Kade and Keagan, a grandson, Michael and his wife Maria and their children, Tristan and Lyanna, a granddaughter, Lacey Ludwig and children, Olivia and Annabelle Wolff.
