Obituary for June G. Suesser June G. Suesser of Summerville, South Carolina, was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven after a long illness on Friday May 4, 2018, with her devoted husband of 49 years, at her side. Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation from 5 to 7 o’clock, on Monday, May 7, 2018 at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. A Graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 11 o’clock at Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Road, Summerville.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. June was born on June 25, 1932 in Bangor, ME, daughter of the late Maurice and Gertrude McHale Roach. June was a devout Christian, who spent her life giving of herself to charities, while devoting her time to help others in the local Rehabilitation Hospital, to cope with the effects of a stroke, having been a stroke survivor herself.

June cherished time spent with her large family, enjoying every precious moment, especially with her many grand and great grandchildren. June, served as the school secretary at Knightsville Elementary School and immediately after leaving the school system, began a new career in childcare development, which she found richly rewarding. June was preceded in death by her parents and brothers; Edward Roach, Richard Roach and Michael Roach.

June is survived by her husband, Eric G. Suesser, children: David Clark (Dottie) of Panama City, FL, Daniel Clark (Carol) of Round O, SC, Dwaine Clark (Judi) of Summerville, SC, Darlene Hodgkins (Tim) of Ridgeville and John Suesser (Lisa) of Summerville, three sisters: Mary Ellen Volz, Winifred Collins, Sandra Thacker, brothers; George Roach and Joe Roach and 23 grand and great grandchildren.
