June R. Tucker, 88, of South Amboy, peacefully passed away on June 5th, 2018. June, the daughter of Loren and Ruth Miller, was originally from Olyphant, Pennsylvania, and moved to Bayonne, New Jersey in 1941. She proceeded to relocate to Jersey City in 1944 and settled in South Amboy where she has remained since 1976.

June worked in the healthcare field and retired as the Director of Medical Records at Bayonne Medical Center after 33 years of service. She is predeceased by her loving husband, David N Tucker Jr., her son, Charles Phillip Wich Jr., and her five siblings. June is survived by her beloved daughter, Ruthanna Johns and her husband, George, her two grandchildren David Johns and his partner, Jerome Ortega, and Tara Beth LeFurge and husband, Matthew, and her great granddaughter, Abigail LeFurge.

June was greatly loved by her family and will be forever missed. Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday evening, June 8, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday morning, June 9, 2018 from 9:30 to 10:15 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A prayer service will be offered at funeral home at 10:00 AM on Saturday morning.

Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Park Cemetery, 1800 NJ 27, North Brunswick Township, NJ 08902 to bring June to her final resting place. In lieu of flowers, the family has kindly asked that donations be made to either the Disabled Veterans National Foundation (www. dvnf.org) or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital (www.
