Karen M. Bolia, age 60, of Algonac, passed away on January 23, 2019, after a brief illness. She was born on January 30, 1958, in Detroit, Michigan. She married Thomas O. Bolia on May 11, 1985, in Chesterfield Township.

She enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Thomas O. Bolia, children; Kurtis (Michaela )Bolia, Nicholas Bolia, and Jacqueline Tullio, granddaughters; Peyton Marsack and Malene Bolia.

Also, her parents, David and Geraldine Kowalski, and siblings; Don Kowalski, Doug (Snow) Kowalski, and Sherry (Thomas) Figlan, along with several nieces and nephews. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday – February 2, 2019 at 3:00pm in the Fraternal Order of Eagles – 7542 Palms Road, Ira Township. Arrangements in care of Jowett Funeral Home – 57737 Gratiot, New Haven.
