Obituary for Karen Elain Schoolcraft (O’dell) Print Karen Elaine O’Dell Schoolcraft Karen Elaine O’Dell Schoolcraft, 77, of Mill Creek passed away Monday, Feb. 18, 2019 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston. She had previously worked for Lacy’s Market and Solo gas station.

Karen was a member of Hanson Chapel Church and was the church secretary for several years. She enjoyed sitting on the front porch, working in her flower bed and having her dog by her side. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Schoolcraft; parents, Earl O’Dell and Edna Clark O’Dell; brothers, Ed and Billy O’Dell; sister, Mary Morris.

Karen is survived by her loving family, sons, Paul Schoolcraft and Jimmy Schoolcraft; daughter, Dometra Rhodes; sister, Janet Jointer, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Service will be 11:00 am Friday, Feb. 22, 2019 at the Hanson Chapel Church, Mill Creek with Pastor Dana Clay officiating.

Burial will be in the Buckner Young Cemetery, Mill Creek. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019 at the funeral home.
