KAREN HINDMAN CRISMAN, 54, of Parker passed away after a brief illness on October 2, 2018 at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. Born on September 19, 1964, she was the daughter of the late, Paul and Emogene Kifer Hindman. Karen was a 1983 graduate of Moniteau High School and was United Methodist by faith.

Karen was married to Mark Crisman, whom survives on October 8, 1988 in Hilliards, Pa. After high school, Karen was employed as a Business Support Specialist for OPM-ROC for 30 years and 8 months. She recently became an independent consultant for Norwex.

Karen is survived by her husband, Mark of 30 years as well as two children; Dylan (Mindy) Crisman of Emlenton, and Hayli (Kyle) Sheakley of Parker. Two grandchildren, Layne and Korie Crisman. Three sisters, Janet Hiatt of Celina, TX.

, Susan (Raymond) Dunkle of Kennerdell, Pa. , and Barb (John) Painter of Hershey, Pa. Two brothers, Don Hindman of Emlenton and Jim “Bonehead” Hindman of Clintonville.

18 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Karen is preceded by sisters, Mary Louise Gold and Sandra Elias and brothers, Larry Hindman and Ken Hindman. Friends and family will be received from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 South Wayne Ave.

Parker with funeral services following at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
