OBITUARY Karen Jeanne Bayersdorfer September 23, 1950 – December 18, 2018 Bayersdorfer, Karen J. (nee Kelly), 68, of River Edge, NJ passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018. Karen received her undergraduate degree from Wagner College and her graduate degree from New York University. She was a nurse at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital for numerous years before embarking on her career as a school nurse.

Among her volunteer endeavors were Boy Scout Troop 184, Camp Sunshine and REGAL. Beloved wife of the late Frank Bayersdorfer. Devoted mother of Bradley and Briana Bayersdorfer.

Cherished mother-in-law to Natalie Bono Bayersdorfer and Nicholas Folkers. Loving grandmother to Noah and Lily Bayersdorfer. Dear sister of Maura Kelly and the late Nancy Pomponio.

Aunt to Tricia Walters and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial visitation will be held at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, on Saturday from 1 to 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s New Jersey, 425 Eagle Rock Avenue, Suite 203, Roseland, NJ 07078 would be appreciated.
