Karen Sue Huelson, 77, of North Vernon, passed away on October 5, 2018, at Majestic Health Care in North Vernon. Born July 24, 1941, in Columbus, the daughter of David and May (Ricketts) Johnson. She married Willis Lee Huelson on May 10, 1958, in North Vernon.

He preceded her in death on January 16, 2016. Mrs. Huelson worked as the branch manager for Fidelity Federal Bank in North Vernon and was a member of First Methodist Church. She enjoyed fishing, camping, boating and NASCAR.

Survivors include sons, Mark (Claudia) Huelson of North Vernon; Jeff (Lannette) Huelson of Columbus and Greg (Julie) Huelson of Deputy; sister, Marilyn (Bob) Taylor of North Vernon; ten grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her, parents; husband; brother, Jack Stearns; and sister, Jodie Amick. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2018, in the Vernon Cemetery with the Rev.

Marvin Sweet officiating. Friends and Family are welcome after the burial to a celebration and remembrance of the life of Mrs. Huelson at the Southeast Indiana Mental Health Center, 257 E. Main Street, North Vernon. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon was entrusted with the care of these arrangements.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the American Lung Association.
