Sabra Gail Ritchie, 60, of North Vernon, passed away at 2:10 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour. Born September 24, 1958, in Columbus, Mrs. Ritchie was the daughter of James Marvin and June (Hayden) Bridges. She married Michael Ritchie on May 14, 2001 in Vernon; he survives.

Mrs. Ritchie worked for the former Hatton’s Carpet in North Vernon for five years. She enjoyed riding horses, animals especially dogs, watching television and working crossword puzzles. Survivors include her husband, Michael “Mike” Ritchie of North Vernon; four sisters, Brenda, Joyce, Patty and Marcella.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Virginia Shattuck. The Graveside Service for Mrs. Ritchie will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 19, 2018, in the Baldwin Cemetery in Vernon with Rev. Dale Boyd officiating.

Friends may call at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service on Monday, from 12:00 p.m. (noon) until 12:45 p.m. Memorials may be made through the funeral home for expenses.
