Franklin Lee “Frank” Kirkpatrick, 75, of Seymour passed away at 1:15 a.m. on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Born June 10, 1943 in Harrisville, West Virginia, Frank was the son of Andrew Homer Kirkpatrick and Betty Louise (Michael) Kirkpatrick McAlarney. Frank was a 1962 graduate of Seymour High School and served in the U.S. Navy from 1965-1969 during the Vietnam War.

He worked as night watchman for Rose Acres in Cortland and Supervisor for HO Canfield in Seymour. He was a former member of the V.F.W. and American Legion. Frank enjoyed camping, fishing, watching football and shopping.

Survivors include his brothers, John (Cindy) Kirkpatrick of North Vernon, David McAlarney and Gary McAlarney, both of Seymour, and Mike Kirkpatrick of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wishes and the families wishes a private graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon.

Memorials may be made in honor of Frank through the funeral home to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
