Linda Paulette Dixon, 73, of North Vernon passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Born July 29, 1945, in Hammond, Louisiana, Ms.Dixon was the daughter of John Braun. Ms. Dixon worked for Shoney’s in San Antonio, Texas.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in North Vernon and enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with her family. Survivors include her sons, John (Cynthia) Dixon and Charles (Tammy) Dixon both of North Vernon, and Charles Shane (Valerie) Dixon of Florida; daughter, Judy (Jeff) Gapinski of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren, Charles Trey Dixon, Crystal Dixon, Chris (Andrea) Dixon, Susan (Danny) Kilburn and Josh (Carolyn) Stack all of North Vernon and Joanna (Eli) Jonzalez of San Antonio, Texas; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

In keeping with her wishes cremation is planned. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service were trusted with the care of these arrangements. Memorials made through the funeral home to the American Lunn Association or American Heart Association.
