Victoria M. Powers, 64, of North Vernon, passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018, at Schneck Medical Center. No services will be held. Cremation is planned.

Arrangements are in the care of Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. Born October 28, 1954, in Elgin, IL, Victoria was the daughter of John Panowicz and Helen (Chancellor) Campbell. She married Charles Powers on November 4, 1978.

He survives. She had moved back to North Vernon in 2006, graduated from KOPS weight loss center, and loved her animals. Victoria is survived by her husband, Charles Powers of North Vernon; stepdaughters, Christina Powers of Spandway, WA and Cora JoAnn Powers of Shelton, WA; sister, Michelle Brask of Lake Steven’s, WA; and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Panowicz and Helen Campbell. Friends and family are invited to light a candle or leave a message of condolence in Victoria’s memory at www. sawyerfuneralservice.com.
