Jennifer L. Herr, 57, of North Vernon, passed away at 4:45 a.m. on Wednesday, November 07, 2018, at her residence. A funeral service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2018, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. Rev.

Jerry Byrd will officiate. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. and continue until the time of the service. Born October 11, 1961, in Indianapolis, Jennifer was the daughter of Robert and Marjorie Bartlett Karibo.

She married Steven J. Herr on February 6, 1982. He survives. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and had worked 15 years at St. Mary’s School.

She had worked at Bill’s Mobile Homes and had owned Anna Daisy’s Candy Store for five years. Jennifer had been a soccer coach with the Muscatatuck Soccer Club and Jennings Co. Middle School Soccer. She loved fishing and camping, yard sales, crafts and working with kids.

She dearly loved her grandson, Gideon. Jennifer is survived by her husband, Steven J. Herr of North Vernon; her mother, Marjorie Karibo of North Vernon; daughter, Jenna (Jacob) Wooddell of Jamestown; son, Steven R. Herr of North Vernon; grandson, Gideon Woodell of Jamestown; and four sisters, Pat (Philip Heady) Tallant of FL, Shirley (Ron) Loos of New Palestine, Sharon (Sid) Sokol of Leander, TX and Judy (Gary) Faulkner of Danville, IN. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Karibo.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Our Hospice of South Central IN.
