Oscar A. Elsner, 89, of North Vernon, passed away at 3:50 p.m. on Monday, November 26, 2018, at Schneck Medical Center. He was the widower of Evelyn Hartman Elsner. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2018, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

Rev. Jerry Byrd will officiate. Rosary service will begin at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2018, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service.

Visitation will follow from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. A complete obituary will follow shortly.
