Karl Eric Artinger, 60, of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away on June 20, 2018 surrounded by the love of family and friends. Karl was born on August 6, 1957 to Walter and Jean Artinger in Belleville, Illinois and was raised in Ottawa, Kansas. Karl married Janice Round on October 22, 1988 in Kansas City, Missouri.

In November 1995, Karl established Mid-America Calibrations, serving as President and CEO. He was an avid bowler, golfer, volleyball player, and coach of his sons in all of their activities. Karl will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Karl was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Janice; his sons: Collin and Kyle; his sister, Barbara McHugh and her husband, William McHugh of Columbia, MO; and many extended family and friends. A visitation will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1800 MO-150, Lee’s Summit, MO 64082 on Monday, June 25th from 10:00 – 11:00 am, with a memorial mass held at 11:00 am.
