Earl Michael Glass, Jr. was called from labor to reward on June 5, 2018. Earl was born to the union of Earl M. Glass, Sr. and Emma Jean Thomas on August 29, 1942 in Kansas City, Missouri. Earl committed his life to Christ at an early age.

He was a faithful, committed and dedicated member of Greater Corinthian Church of the Christ Non-Denominational. Earl served as a Deacon and during earlier years of his membership he sang in the Choir and did Security. Earl attended Central High School and served in the United States Marine Corps.

Earl worked in the Security field for many years for various companies throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area. His last employer was Securitas. During his career in security, Earl received several recognitions and awards for excellent service.

Earl was loved by many and known for his “Big Bear Hugs”. He adopted many as his children, grandchildren, Godchildren, nieces and nephews. He was a huge fan of the Kansas City Chiefs.

He also loved to shop, dining out, and family gatherings. Earl was united in marriage to Deborah Ivey on August 29, 1980. She preceded him in death on October 31, 2005.

His son, Michael Andre Glass, grandmother, Julia Mae Jones, aunt, Ardelia Mae Brown, and uncle, R.T. Brown also preceded him in death. Earl will truly be missed. Earl Michael Glass, Jr. leaves to cherish his memories, daughter, Melisha Hollman; sons: Harris Saunders, II, John L. Williams, Eugene Saunders and Rick Wallace; many grandchildren; cousins: Carl Rogan, Herman Glass, Linda Carter, Raechard Brown (Rosalind), Stephanie Woods, Julia Brown, Phillip Brown (Diane), and Vincent Brown; a very dear and special friend, Stephanie White; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
