Everett was an Aeronautical Engineer and worked for McDonnell Douglas for several years.

He later developed a subdivision of earth-contact round houses near his home of 37 years in Paradise, MO. Everett enjoyed old westerns, books by James Patterson and spending his last years with his grandson, Jason. Everett is survived in death by his son, Brian Douglas Cluchey, daughter Brooke Astra Cluchey, step-daughter, Tania Ann Gantney Sannipoli, grandchildren, Anthony Cluchey, Christina Cluchey, Jason Daniel Cluchey, Savannah Cheyann Sannipoli, and Dustin James Imm.
