MANTUA Karl M. Goss. 55 years of age, passed away Monday November 12, 2018 at Macedonia, Ohio. Born on November 29, 1962 in Homestead, Florida, he was the son of the late Leo and Betty (Turner) Goss.

Karl grew up Florida, and had been a resident of the Mantua area since 1993. He was a longtime member of Christ Lutheran Church in Mantua. For many years he coached football, baseball and soccer for Crestwood Youth Leagues, including assisting with the teams that his sons played on.

His love for animals, and their love for Karl will always be remembered, and cherished memories of a kind, respectful, loving gentleman with a heart of gold will forever be a part of the legacy that he has established. A man who would help anyone, family, friend or someone he just had met, will be mourned by all who knew Karl. On April 25, 1992, he married his beloved wife Cheryl A. (Novak) Goss who survives at their home.

Also surviving are his devoted sons Justin Goss of Tempe, Arizona and Brandon Goss of Mantua; his siblings Mark Goss of Tampa, Florida, Wade (Diane) Goss of Georgia, Valerie and Donna (Jack). He was preceded in death by his brother Lee Goss. Cremation has taken place.

Memorial visitation will be held Saturday November 17, 2018 from 12:00 Noon-2:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St.Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255, where his Celebration of Life will begin at 2:00 P.M.Immediately following family and friends are invited to a gather at the Aurora V. F.W. on St. Rt. 43, Aurora, Ohio.
