OBITUARY Karla Burguete Cerecedo September 29, 1994 – January 11, 2019 Karla Burguete Cerecedo 24, of Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, a children’s pastor and a worship minister, passed away unexpectedly at home early on the morning of January 11th surrounded by her loving family. Karla accomplished many things in her life. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in Austin, as a part of class of 2013.

She was attending college at Howard College in San Angelo and she was aspiring to be a pediatric nurse. While attending school she also worked full-time as a personal banker at First Financial Bank. Karla was very proud to have her district license from the Church of The Nazarene.

Karla was a minister for The Church of The Nazarene South Texas District, attending Iglesia Linaje Escogido in San Angelo where she would rejoice by playing the keyboard and singing for our Lord. She would teach all the kids in the church, giving classes to them about the gospel, she loved spending time playing and getting to know them. Karla is survived by her parents, Jorge G. and Sandra Burguete; a brother, Alberto Burguete; grandmothers, Ana Ma.

Cerecedo, and Gloria E. Burguete; grandfather Juan Cerecedo; and her fiancé Amaury Jimenez. Karla is predeceased by a grandfather, Sergio A. Burguete; aunt, Lupita Torres, and uncle, Rafael A. Burguete. Karla always put others before herself.

She made sure her family and friends were taken care of and didn’t need anything. She was the most loving and caring person and would do anything for anyone who needed help. She will be tremendously missed by everyone.

Have fun singing and playing the keyboard to our Lord in Heaven! In the clouds, we will meet again. Memorial services will be 2 pm Saturday, January 26th, 2019 at the First Church of the Nazarene, 3354 W. Beauregard Ave San Angelo, TX 76904.
