Katherine’s Obituary Katherine D. Bernard, 79 of Hot Springs, Arkansas, was born on November 11, 1939, to Bynum and Ruby Sherrill. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. She was preceded in death by her afore-mentioned parents; one brother, Don Sherrill; three sisters: Betty Wood, Melba Burks and Debbie Manning.

Katherine will be missed and remembered by three sons, David Kostelaz (Tammy) of Mayflower, Arkansas, Richard Kostelaz (Lora) and Edward Kostelaz (Cami) of Hot Springs; four sisters: Bonnie Ray of Hot Springs, Sandra Cagle and Phyllis Herring of Paw Paw, Michigan and Wilma Kersten of Wyoming, Michigan; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and host of other relatives and friends. Katherine’s Home Going Memorial Service will be held at 10:30am on Monday, December 17, at the Church of the Open Door, located at 700 South Avenue, Hot Springs.
