(Green) Winland June 19, 1933 – March 09, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Katherine M. “Kate” (Green) Winland, 85, of Colerain, OH, died Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Liza’s Place, West Wheeling, OH. She was born June 19, 1933 in Wheeling, WV a daughter of the late Donald and Gladys (Butler) Green. Kate was a homemaker and enjoyed baking, quilting and spending time with her grandchildren and friends at the Colerain Senior Center.

She was a member of the Colerain Presbyterian Church, Colerain, OH. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Winland, sisters; Rhea Green, Matilda Kruslyak and Gladys Dierkes and a brother, Walter Green. Surviving are her children; Marcie (Kevin) Wilson, Peggy (Jim) Mehlman, and Karen (Ralph) King all of Colerain, grandchildren; Jared (Alyssa Stingle) Wilson and Darek Wilson, James and Parker Mehlman and Joshua (Terra) King, Courtney (Joe) Hammergren and Nicole (Cody Collette) King, great grandchildren; Kole and Luke Wilson, Camdyn and Cali King and Eli Hammergren.

Family and friends will be received at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH, Tuesday, 2 – 8 p.m. where services will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Joe Ellis officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to the Colerain Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 96.
