Obituary for Kathleen J. Johnson Kathleen J. Johnson January 16, 1958-July 18, 2018 Mrs. Kathleen J. Johnson, 60, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018 in La Porte. She was born January 16, 1958 in La Grange, Illinois, the daughter of Phillip Frye and Helen (LaMarsche) Frye. Kathleen was a home health nurse.

She had a great sense of humor and loved her family very much. On June 20, 1981, in La Porte, she married James L. Johnson who survives. She is also survived by her son, John (Anita) Johnson; daughter, Kelly (Lee) Joseph; twelve Grandchildren, Nevaen Johnson, Joseph Johnson, Trenton Johnson, Angelina Johnson, Malikai Joseph, Makayla Joseph, Maximus Joseph, Abigail Hayes, Abby and Elloitt Passmore, Arayah and AJ Rangel, Xzayvier and Natalya Wilson, Aidan Reyes; four brothers, Joe Frye, Phil Frye, Tim Frye, Bill Frye; sister, Mary Ann Carr.

Kathleen was preceded in death by both her parents; two brothers, Tom Frye and John Frye. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave. , LaPorte, IN where the family will receive friends Saturday, July 28, 2018 beginning at 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. A life celebration will commence at 3:30 p.m. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Kathleen J.
