Kathleen M. (Marris) Wilcox, 74, of Pitcher, NY, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center, Cortland, NY. Born on December 25, 1944 in Erieville, NY, Mrs. Wilcox was the daughter of the late Gordon and Beulah Simmons Marris. Prior to her retirement, she had worked at Gladding Corporation in South Otselic, and most recently at E.L. Wood in Marathon.

She is survived by her children, Sandra (Barry) Monro of North Pitcher and Russell (Jeani) Wilcox of Earlville. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Jonathan Monro of Cicero, Danielle (Dallis) Smith of South Otselic, Brad Lidell of Syracuse, and Zachary Wilcox of Earlville; her great-grandchildren, Tucker, Jessica, Kadi, and Garrett; her siblings, Janice Hopkins of DeRuyter, Clyve (Linda) Marris of Norwich, Jim (Rose) Marris of Sylvan Beach, Martha Jones of Delphi, and Karen (Bob) Herboldt of West Eaton; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; her cat, Tiger, and her bird, Buddy. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Robert and Curt Marris.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no immediate calling hours or funeral services. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Mrs. Wilcox may be made to a local ASPCA.
