Kathryn E. “Katie” Suever, 95, of Delphos, passed away on May 29, 2019, at Vancrest Healthcare Center in Delphos. She was born on June 25, 1923, to Alfred and Bertha (Bair) Hotz. She was united in marriage to Norman Suever; he preceded her in death February 12, 2011.

She is survived by one daughter, Pamela Illyes of Middle Point; two sons, Ronald (Joanne) Suever of Powell and Keith Suever of Port Orange, Fl; one granddaughter, Nicole Rice of St. Marys; two great-grandchildren, Tyler Rice and Shayla (Leonard) Miles and 2 great-great grandchildren, Mason Rice and Brookelynn Miles. She is preceded by her sister, Clara Belzer and her son-in-law, Donald Illyes who also passed away on May 29, 2019. Katie was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.

She enjoyed crocheting and going to craft shows with her daughter. A private burial for both Katie and her husband will be held in St. John the Baptist Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to Vancrest activities department.
