Obituary of Kathy Staley Kathy Sue Gibson Staley, age 62, of Randleman died Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Staley was born December 3, 1955 the daughter of Cecil and Virginia Yates Gibson, Sr. Kathy was a native of Roanoke, VA. and of Baptist faith.

She worked for several years as a convenience store manager. In addition to her parents, Kathy is preceded in death by her husband Harold Staley. She is survived by her son: Dwayne Steven McCarthy of Randleman; step-son Christopher Staley of Randleman; 6 grandchildren;sisters: Vergie Church or Rocky Mount, VA, Vicky Hodges of Gretna, VA and Peggy Morris of Roanoke, VA; brothers: Cecil Gibson, Jr of Gretna, VA, Michael Yates of Roanoke, VA and Jeffrey Yates of Roanoke, VA,; 15 nieces & nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday, September 13, 2018 from 1:00 – 1:45 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the chapel, with Pastor Dale McCoy officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
