Obituary of Leroy Davis Leroy Davis, 74, of Jordan Grove Road, Siler City died Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Chatham Hospital. Mr. Davis was born in Appomattox, Virginia on December 24, 1943 the son of Charles and Martha Ann Davis. He was employed as a machine mechanic for a pharmaceutical company.

Leroy was a perfectionist, a “Jack of All Trades” who enjoyed working on cars, fishing, and watching military documentaries. He had an appetite for eating turtles, deer and frogs. Leroy will be remembered as a family man with a loving giving spirit.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years: Curtenia (Taylor) Davis; daughter, Angela Davis of Siler City, NC; sons: Charles Davis and wife, Sonia of Chesapeake, VA and Darrin Davis and wife, Jennifer of Tobyhanna, PA. ; grandchildren, Darrin, Charles, Chelsee and Kenya. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Indian School, P O Box 326, Chamberlain, SD 57326.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 14, 2018 from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at Lambert’s Chapel Church. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation. Smith & Buckner Funeral Home is assisting the family.
