Obituary of David Latham Star – David Lemar Latham, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at his residence. Mr. Latham was born in Randolph County on December 26, 1932, to Wilson Eames and Shaye Ardena Luther Latham. He loved horses and was an outdoorsman.

He was a logger and shoed horses. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Leon, Carvin, Ariel, and Thelma. He is survived by one sister, Sandra Lucas, of Asheboro; and brother, Jerry Latham, of Star.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 28, at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery, 7811 Pisgah Covered Bridge Road, Asheboro with the Rev. Thurman Williams and Rev.

Tony Sedberry officiating. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
