Obituary of Margie Vanhoy Margie McFalls Vanhoy, age 91, of Troy died Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Grayson Creek Assisted Living in Lexington, NC. Mrs. Vanhoy was born October 17, 1926 in Kannapolis, NC, the daughter of the late Thomas L. McFalls and the late Mary Ann Morris McFalls. She was a retired LPN, employed by Montgomery Memorial Hospital, in Troy, where she worked for over 50 years.

Margie loved knitting, baking, and enjoyed talking and socializing with others. She was a Christian woman of strong faith. She is survived by one daughter: Catherine Vanhoy Koenck and husband Larry of Greensboro, NC; one son: Bobby Vanhoy, and wife, Diane of Lexington, NC; one daughter in law, Judy Vanhoy; one sister in law: Beverly McFalls; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Robert D. Vanhoy, son, Larry D. Vanhoy, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 6-8 PM at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy, NC. Funeral service will be held on Sunday July 22, 2018 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Troy, 401 E. Main Street, Troy with Dr. Jeffrey Hartman officiating.

Burial will follow in Southside Cemetery, Troy. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Troy, 401 E. Main Street, PO Box 442, Troy, NC 27371. On-line condolences may be made at www.
