Obituary for Mrs. Kay Courtney Williams Mrs. Kay Courtney Williams, 58, of Murray, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Williams was born on December 4, 1959 in Hinton, WV. She is preceded in death by her father, Marcus James; a son, Steven Courtney; a half brother, Ronald Stevens and a half sister, Ella Mae Stevens.

Those surviving Mrs. Williams include her mother, Alice Yarbrough Tabers and step father, Herbie Taber’s Jr., of Murray; her husband, Thomas Williams of Murray; a son, Thomas Williams of Hardin; two brothers, Mark James (Kaye) of Benton and Robert Arthur Stevens (Tabitha Walatkiewicz); two half brothers, Terry Stevens and Kelly Stevens (Belinda) of Murray; two sisters, Pam James Gilbert of Murray and Karen James of San Diego, CA; one granddaughter, Aaliyah Courtney Williams; several nieces and nephews and one special pet, Chloe. A celebration of life is set for 2 PM on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the Heritage Chapel of Imes Funeral Home located at 1804 Hwy 121 Bypass North, Murray. Sammy Cunningham will officiate.

Her family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 1-2 PM on Saturday, February 17, 2018. The Heritage Chapel of Imes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences available at www.
