Kay E. King, 78, of Hillsboro, left to be with the Lord on Friday, July 20, 2018. Born in Dayton on August 1, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Catherine Dieker. Kay is survived by her loving husband of nearly 53 years, J. Clay King.

A devoted Christian, Kay loved the Lord and her church. She enjoyed making Easter candy, helping with Vacation Bible School, and working word searches. In addition to her husband, Kay is survived by three daughters: Brenda (Dennis Nadolsky) Head, Donna (James) Moore, all of Miamisburg, and Mary (Tony) Thompson, of Hillsboro.

Also left to cherish her memory are 8 grandchildren: Shawn (Donna Hoover) Head, Jason (Heather) Head, Kristen (Kurt) Stasvold, Melissa (Ryan) Coffee, James (Amber) Moore, II, Matt (Erica) King, Stephanie (Brad) Garman, and Scott (Ashley Foster) Thompson; 12 great-grandchildren, with 2 on the way, and 2 great-great grandchildren; sisters: Dorothy Leber and Sharon Hill; brother, Andy Dieker; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at Hillsboro Church of God on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, from 10:30am – 12:30pm, when a funeral service will begin. Burial to follow at New Market Cemetery.
