Obituary for Kaye Westlake Kaye Westlake, 74, of Cheyenne, went to be with her Lord on May 7, 2018 at MCR in Colorado surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 24, 1943 in Riverton, WY, to Bill and Marjorie Leake. Kaye graduated from UW with honors and a degree in elementary education; she retired after teaching for 35 years.
Kaye made a significant impact on the lives of many of her students. Most importantly, she loved the Lord and serving others. She truly loved life by spending time with family and friends.
Kaye is survived by her husband of 55 years, Alan Westlake, Cheyenne; children, Lori Birt (James), Cheyenne, Becky Mortimore (Mark), Thermopolis, Scott Westlake (Kandice) ,Cheyenne, and Lisa Lineen (Doug) , Cheyenne; three sisters, Glenda Coyle (Al), Carol Spann, and Patti Fazendin; grandchildren, Mandi Eischens (T.J.), Kyle Birt, Brenon and Tiffany Mortimore, Chloe Johnson, Brandon, Kaylee, and Tyler Westlake and Anysia Jorgensen, and Trent Eastman (Jess); and great-grandchildren, Carsten, Kinley, Leif, Gabe, Chanel, Levi and Logan. Services will be Saturday , 9:00 a.m., at Cheyenne Hills Church. Burial will follow in Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
