Kenneth E. Goldy, 98, of Duboistown died Saturday, January 5, 2019 at his home in Brooksville, Fla. Born May 25, 1920 in Binghamton, NY he was a son of the late Clyde K. and Mildred I. Jamison Goldy. Kenneth was a graduate of Williamsport High School.

He served in the Army Air Corp in the European Theater during World War II. Kenneth was a life member of VFW Post 844 and American Legion Post 617 where he served as past Post Commander. He was also a member of the Loyal Order of Moose and enjoyed traveling and dancing.

Kenneth retired from Bethlehem Steel after 45 years of service. Surviving are his wife, Lois Winters-Goldy; a daughter, Lynn Fravel of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren Brett Fravel of Parish, FL and Lance Fravel of Las Vegas, NV; a sister, Grace Beisel of Bailey, CO; seven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Ivy Goldy; a granddaughter, Traci Fravel and step son, Scott Winters.

A funeral service to honor the life of Kenneth will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond Street with Rev. James West, officiating. There will be a viewing from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

Interment will be in Buchanan Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post 617, 901 Market Street, South Williamsport, PA 17702.
