Callie Ann Brown, 94, of Loyalsock, went to be with the Lord on the morning of Feb. 19, 2019, at her home. She was born on April 2, 1924 in Lexington, Ky.

, the only child of the late William M. and Esther L. (Martin) Morris. Callie graduated from the University of Kentucky and moved to Bridgeport, Conn. , to work in the accounting department of the General Electric Company where she met and married Daniel J. Brown.

She devoted her life to her husband, the raising of their children, and service to Stratford Baptist Church in Stratford, Conn. Her family and her faith were the most important things in her life. She enjoyed vacations with family, reading, puzzles, traveling, sewing and the beach.

Her husband predeceased her in 1983. In her later years, Callie moved to Williamsport and continued to enjoy time and travel with family, especially to the Outer Banks. She attended Community Baptist Church.

Callie is survived by her children, David (Barbara) Brown of Stratford, Conn. , and Carolyn (Scott) Davis of Loyalsock; and her son-in-law, Fred Lehman of Lansdowne. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kimberly (Nathan) Achey of Secane; Cheryl Brown of Stratford, Conn.

; Michael (Melissa) Brown of Lahaina, Hawaii; Jonathan (Stephanie) Davis of Nanticoke; Benjamin (Allyson) Davis of Plymouth Meeting; Matthew Lehman of Philadelphia; and Michele Lehman of Drexel Hill. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Patricia L. Lehman of Lansdowne, in 2016.

A memorial service for Callie will be held 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave. , Williamsport, with Pastor Robert Vance of the Garden View Baptist Church officiating.

A visitation will be held from 2:30 p.m. until time of service at Knight-Confer Funeral Home. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Winchester, Ky. The family will provide flowers.

Memorial contributions may be made in Callie’s name to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, 1 Billy Graham Pkwy. , Charlotte, NC 28201.
