Jacquelyn L. (Derr) Cochran Kephart, 74, of Northumberland, passed away, Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at Manor Care Health Services North, Williamsport. Born March 26, 1944, in Williamsport she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Deliah (Nedig) Derr. Jacquelyn was formerly employed at Wire Rope as an assembler for many years.

She attended local Baptist churches and the Salvation Army. Surviving are her four children, Penny L. Smith (William), of Cogan Station, Brian L. Cochran (Wendy), of Williamsport, Dianna L. Laver (Joseph), of Williamsport, and Wayne L. Cochran (Melissa), of Roaring Branch, 11 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Jessica Baney and Gillian Laver; a brother, Harry Derr; four sisters, Tootie Ward, Mary Bartholomew, Madeline Sonon, and Anna Hammerstein; and a step-daughter, Brenda J. Hess.

A memorial service to honor the life of Jacquelyn will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 5, at South Williamsport Church of Christ, 358 E. Central Ave. , Williamsport, PA 17702. The family will receive friends following the service in the church social hall with a light lunch to be served.

Burial will be held privately in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
