With loving arms Kenneth Edward Monlux (Kenny Pop) walked into the arms of our Lord on December 13, 2018 at the Morrison House. He was married to his wife Maxine V (Frank) Monlux of 62 years. He was born November 11, 1931 in Zanesville, son of the late, Clarence Monlux & Rosella Anderson Monlux.

He served in the United States Army from 1953-1955. Two years in Germany during the Korean War & was honorably discharged as a Corporal. Ken worked for Hupp Concrete for 30 years and then at the New System Bakery and also for Perry Township.

Upon retiring he became a full time farmer. He served as a 4-H advisor for Perry Merry Mixers, Salt Creek Kountry Kids and Panther Paw Society 4-H clubs for a total of 50 years. Ken was a deacon and Elder at North Terrace Church of Christ.

Later he served as Elder in the new work of East 40 Church of Christ. He served as an Elder for 26 years. He is survived by his wife Maxine; four children, Kimberly (Joe) Robinson, Daniel (Bonnie) Monlux, Beth ((Dave) Duff, Rebecca (Dave) Monlux; 14 grandchildren, Nicole Arnold, Josh Robinson, Danielle Hinkle, DaLisa Morrison, Dustin & David Monlux, Wade, Catlyn & Jacob McGee, Rebecca Schrader, Leanna Rogers, Shawna Braun, Amy Brennen & David Duff Jr.; 16 great-grandchildren Micha Robinson, Nathaniel & Eleanor Arnold, Kera & Blake Hinkle, Ryder Morrison, Mackenzie & AJ Rogers, Maria Johnson, Maddie, Kaitlyn & Beckham Braun, Maliki, Mya, Tony & Kaleb Monlux; soon to be born Owen Kenneth McGee; three sisters, Jean (Ronald) Clark, Dorothy (Dale) German and Dona Shirer.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister & brother-in-law, Marcella & Bernard West; nephew Bob West. Calling hours will be held Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Monday, December 17, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at East Forty Church of Christ 7522 East Pike, Norwich, OH 43767, where services will take place at 11:00 AM Monday with Bill Meiage, Kenny Thomas and Josh Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery with full Military honors conducted by the United States Army in conjunction with the VFW George Selsam Post 1058 and American Legion Post 29.
