HUBBARD Funeral services will be held on Thursday May 3, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home for Kenneth Miller Barrett who went to sleep on April 26, 2018 and woke up with his Lord and Savior. He was surrounded by his children overlooking the foothills of the Smoky Mountains, a place he loved to be. Ken was born October 25, 1936 in Steubenville to Raymond and Elsie (Young) Barrett.

Mr. Barrett was of the Baptist faith and attended Boardman Baptist and Calvary Baptist Churches. He was a 1958 graduate of Toronto High School and worked at Cole Klay until he entered the Army in 1960. He married the love of his life, Linda Kay Gruber on October 26, 1963 they were married 52 years until her death in 2016.

Kenneth moved to Hubbard in 1966 and was a machinist at Commercial Intertech retiring in 2001. He was a foster parent for 35 years. Surviving Kenneth are his children, Tracey of Boardman, Kenny (Kim) of Hubbard, Sandra Dickinson and Jason of Sevierville, TN; a brother, Gordon of Toronto; a sister-in-law, Barbara Evans of Clio, MI; a brother-in-law, Jerry Gruber of Bloomingdale, OH and sisters-in-law, Ann Williams of Glendale, AZ and Kathy Gruber of Bloomingdale, OH.

His pride and joy were his grandchildren, Beau Morrison, John Forsythe, Michele (Michael) Bowser, Raymond and Karin Barrett, Richard (Ariel), Mayson and Jacob Dickinson. He also leaves 3 great grandchildren. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a brother, Thomas, a sister-in-law, Rae Sells and brothers-in-law, William Sells and Al Williams.

Family and friends may call on Thursday May 3, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home. Interment will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery. Please visit www.
