HUBBARD A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday June 18, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Edward Brienz officiating for Carmen R. Morocco, 78, who died Tuesday June 12, 2018 at Sharon Regional Hospital. He was born November 16, 1939 in Farrell, PA a son of Joseph and Alice Grande Morocco and had lived in Hubbard since 1967 coming from Farrell.

Mr. Morocco, a graduate of Farrell High School served with the United States Army. He was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church and was a steel worker at Sharon Steel for 33 years. Carmen enjoyed fishing, horse racing, family picnic and bowling.

He enjoyed traveling with his family and bowling team to tournaments locally and to Las Vegas. He leaves his wife of 51 years, the former Virginia Carano whom he married April 29, 1967; two brothers, Joseph Morocco and Michael Morocco both of Farrell and several nieces, nephews and godchildren. Carmen was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gerald Morocco.

Family and friends may call on Monday June 18, 2018 from 10:00 to 10:45 AM at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church. Full military honors will be provided by the West Middle Honor Guard on Monday June 18, 2018 at 10:45 AM at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
